Biography
Dr. Alexander Brill was born, graduated from Medical School and received his PhD in Russia. He did his first postdoc at Weizmann Institute of Sciences (Israel), and second postdoc at Harvard Medical School (Boston MA, USA) under supervision of Dr. Denisa Wagner. In 2011, Dr. Brill was promoted to Instructor at Harvard Medical School and in 2013 received a position of Birmingham Fellow at the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom). Dr. Brill's research interests focus on mechanisms of thrombosis, especially deep vein thrombosis with an emphasis on the interplay between immune system and thrombus development.
