Cardiovascular nursing is a specialty that works with patients who suffer from numerous conditions of the cardiovascular system. Cardiovascular nurses facilitate treat conditions like unstable angina, myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, cardiac dysrhythmia and congestive heart failure under the direction of a heart specialist (cardiologist). In childhood a disorder which involves both the heart and lungs problems, called Paediatric Cardiopulmonary disease. Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) is the visceral fat deposit around the heart and is commonly increased in obese subjects. EAT is related to Cardio Metabolic risk factors and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in adults, but this relationship is not well known in children. (MI) Myocardial infarction is rare in childhood and adolescence. Children usually have either an acute inflammatory condition of the coronary arteries diseases or an anomalous origin of the left coronary artery (LCA). Peripheral vascular diseases (PVDs) are circulation disorders that affect blood vessels outside of the heart and brain. In PVD, blood vessels are narrowed. Narrowing is usually caused by arteriosclerosis. The use of alternative medical practices in the United States is growing day by day. The most commonly used approaches are herbs, supplements, and other pharmacological therapies, that are needed for patients care with focusing on potential effects, cardiovascular disease, treatment interactions and adverse effects. Potentially serious adverse effects and interactions with alternative cardiovascular medicine exist for many supplements and herbs. Heart failure is a growing epidemic caused by cardiomyocyte depletion. Current therapies prolong survival by protecting remaining cardiomyocytes but are unable to overcome the fundamental problem of regenerating lost cardiomyocytes. Several strategies for promoting heart regeneration have emerged from decades of intensive study. Although some of these strategies remain confined to basic research, others are beginning to be tested in humans. Cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) is an umbrella term used in the medical field that defines disorders of the heart and kidneys whereby acute or chronic dysfunction in one organ may induce acute or chronic dysfunction of the other. The heart and the kidneys are involved in maintaining hemodynamic stability and organ perfusion through an intricate network. These two organs communicate with one another through a variety of pathways in an interdependent relationship. Kidney failure is very common in patients suffering from congestive heart failure.
